GST Registration, Price Revision, and Special Promotion

Since our establishment in 2021, The Pets Workshop has been dedicated to providing top-notch pet grooming services at affordable prices. We greatly appreciate your continued support and trust in our services.
As you may be aware, the Singapore Government has increased the Goods & Services Tax (GST) twice since we opened, adding pressure to our operating costs. Additionally, we are now required to register with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) to collect GST. These changes necessitate a revision of our prices to account for the GST collection and rising costs.
We are currently in the process of applying for GST registration, and we anticipate that our new pricing will take effect sometime in August. We want to assure you that this decision is made with careful consideration to ensure the sustainability of our business and to continue delivering the high-quality services you have come to expect.
To help you save money during this transition, we are pleased to offer a special promotion on our credit packages. For a limited time, we will provide an even bigger discount on these packages, which are already discounted. When we are required by IRAS to collect GST, the discount on these packages will revert to their current rates, and you will still be able to purchase them at the current discount rates. As our way of giving back to you, The Pets Workshop will absorb the GST payable on these packages even after we become GST-registered.
This price adjustment is essential for us to enhance the quality of our services, benefiting both you and your pets. With the additional revenue, we will be able to invest in better equipment, training for our staff, and overall improvements to our facilities. These enhancements will help us maintain our commitment to excellence and ensure that your pets receive the best care possible.
